What ages does the Houston Cot suit?
From newborn to around five years. Use it as a cot with the base up for easy reach in the early months, lower the base once bub can sit or pull up, convert to a toddler bed when they're ready to climb in themselves, and finish as a day sofa for the reading years.
What mattress does the Houston Cot take?
A standard 131 × 76 cm cot mattress (sold separately). Our cot mattress range includes sizes to fit — look for 1310 × 760 mm on the mattress spec.
How does it convert to a toddler bed and sofa?
The conversion uses the parts and hardware included with the cot — no separate kit to buy. Full step-by-step instructions for each stage are in the instruction manual, downloadable under Specifications above.
Is the Houston Cot safety certified?
Yes — it's built to the Australian cot safety standard AS/NZS 2172. As with any cot, place your baby on their back on a firm, flat mattress with no pillows or soft objects in the sleep space.
